News OUTTA SIGHT: Artists Outside the Mainstream January 2, 2009 New York, NY – January 2, 2009 – Fountain Gallery, located at 702 Ninth Avenue at 48th Street and representing artists living and working with mental illness, today announced that it will present work by its artists and by select guest artists at Booth 21 of the 17th International Outsider Art Fair, January 9-11, at 7W, 7 West 34th Street in New York City. Concurrent with the Fair, Fountain Gallery will open its first exhibition of 2009: Outta Sight: Artists Outside the Mainstream, which will be on view through February 25, with an Open House at the Gallery on Sunday, January 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. This exhibition is made possible in part by the support of The Renate, Hans and Maria Hofmann Trust and by Glenn Close.
